Well if you put it so forcefully, I feel obliged to tell you. For starters, the Spanish national side, La Selección return to Logroño tonight nine years after their last visit, when they were held to a 0-0 draw by Paraguay. Their house guests this evening are Liechtenstein so the locals are expecting some goals. As the television pictures are likely to focus on the back of the Liechtenstein net, treat yourself to a proper look at the Estadio Nuevo Las Gaunas here. Oh go on then, here's my favourite picture of the stadium.
Estadio Nuevo Las Gaunas - España expects goals
Last night, the Spanish U-21 side made hard work of their qualifier with Georgia, winning by 2 to 0. The match was played at the Estadio Anxo Carro in Lugo, Galicia. Do you know what? Here's a link to some great pictures of the stadium.
A week or so ago, I published a picture of La Fuensanta, home to UB Conquense. Well the remodelled stadium has now hosted it's first game, a 0-2 loss to Real Madrid Castilla and here is some footage of the match. If you are like me however, you'll be looking at the stadium taking shape in the background. I also posted an update on Cordoba CF's redevelopment of Estadio Nuevo Arcángel and it would be remiss of me not to point you to this footage of their recent game against UD Almeria. The new stand is taking shape very nicely and that young lad next to the cameraman has clean ears.
You can also check out one of the latest pages on this site covering CP Cacereño's Estadio Principe Felipe and its unique main stand. Finally, feel free to visit my twitter page, @estadios_Spain Become a follower (That sounds a bit intense!) and you'll receive regular updates wherever you are.
