Snowy Spanish Stadiums - Day 17

Today we find ourselves back in the land of snow, or as sticklers for detail prefer to call it, Castile-León. The snowy scene below was taken in December 2010 at the Estadio Reino de León, home of Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa. Back in the mid 1950's Cultural played in La Primera, but after years of financial instability the club was demoted to the Tercera at the end of the 2010-11 season. This cracking stadium was opened in 2001 and has even hosted the national team.
