Good news everybody! After last week's wholly undo-able quiz, I've toned it down a bit for this latest instalment. Below are pictures of four stadiums that tie in with the theme i.e. One is an old stadium, one is a new sta... oh, you get the picture!
To help you along the way, here are some clues: -
A) This old picture shows a stadium that is unrecognisable from the one that stands there today. You may be a little jaundiced and sad about the resident team's current position. ANSWER - El Madrigal, home to Villarreal
B) Opened in 2010, this stadium did not provide the necessary springboard the home team had hoped for, leaving it stranded in Group I of Segunda B. ANSWER - Estadio Ciudad Puertollano, where er... CD Puertollano play.
C) Built by and rented from the municipality, this 31,000 seat, 50 million euro hole in the ground has yet to to witness top-flight football. ANSWER - The Estadio de Gran Canaria home stadium of UD Las Palmas
D) This stadium was included in Spain's unsuccessful bid for the 2018 World Cup. But why is everything blue, when the home team play in black & white stripes? ANSWER - CD Badajoz play at the Estadio Nuevo Vivero
