Would you care for a journey in my metaphorical time machine? No? Well stick it then! You'll just have to make do with these fabulous old photos of stadiums that sadly, are no more. First up is a club and stadium that I have neglected, Real Oviedo & the original Estadio Carlos Tartiere. I'll put that right later in the month with a comprehensive page on the club and its stadiums. Top right is a picture of Granada CF's old Los Carmenes stadium, which closed in May 1995. Bottom right is a picture of Atletico Madrid's Estadio Metropolitan which closed for business with a La Liga title win in 1966. Finally is a rare photograph of Real Madrid's Estadio Chamartin. Taken in 1947, it shows the current stadium taking shape next door.
