Teams from Castile-La Mancha have rarely reached the top flight in Spain, so let me turn the spotlight on the stadiums from this large region. First up we have a picture of El Prado, the home of Talavera CF until they went belly-up in August 2010. The stadium is now used by UD Talavera. Next is a picture of a new stadium, Estadio Ciudad de Puertollano, home to CD Puertollano, who have spent 11 seasons in La Segunda, although you have to go back to the mid 1980's for their last appearance at this level. The Estadio Rey Juan Carlos I in Ciudad Real was redeveloped in 2006, but the resident club, CF Manchego folded in 2009 and the stadium currently has no senior club. Finally we go to Albacete, who have played in La Primera, but not in the old Campo del Parque de Los Mártires, home to Albacete Balompie from 1940 to 1960.
