Armilla is a suburb of Granada and about 3 miles south west of the centre of the old town, you’ll find the Estadio Municipal de Armilla, home to Arenas de Armilla Cultura y Deporte Club de Futbol. Arenas de Armilla is a community club with a strong emphasis on its youth structure. You can read about them on their official website.

The first team currently play in the Primera División Andaluza - Grupo 4 and they’re doing very nicely at the moment, 7 points clear at the top of the table. They have played at a higher level, with 15 seasons at Tercera and one season, 2004-05, in Segunda 2b. The stadium is basic with a modern cantilevered stand, 40 metres in length and straddling the half-way line. Opposite the main stand was an open bank of 4 rows of seats, which ran the length of the pitch. A television/media gantry stood on the half way line, but this was only present from 2004 to 2007. Overall the stadium holds 2,500. Pictures? Why certainly...
